It was great to see Donna and spend a bit of time with her at my home. When 3 hikers enter your home is becomes very busy. Bac pacs to tear apart and air out all the wet stuff, which lately is most of what is in the bac pac. Wash and Dry that in which can go to a washer and dryer. They plan thier hike for the next week or so. that way I know where to meet up with them and when. The next plan meeting is to be on Tuesday April 21. It will be in Hot Springs NC. Donna calls the night before and lets me know how far they are from the schedulted drop and about how long it will take them to arrive where my son and I will be waiting. Hot Springs is about 3 1/2 hours from here. The Smokies have given her some really bad weather hiking days and they all want to get thru them and have them behind them. Meme
Over 100 miles done. I spoke with her yesterday, she was so looking forward to the 12.5 miles uphill today. Go Mom!!
